ArcherSource Start free
// for teams & coaches

The team app behind ArcherSource.

A scoring, roster, and tournament tool for archery teams that have outgrown the group text and the shared spreadsheet. Built with coaches, parents, and minors in mind from the database up.

// 1 coach + 5 archers, free forever
// how it works

Sign up, add your archers, start logging.

There is no onboarding call and no setup deck. Most teams have their first practice scored inside an hour of signup.

01

Score from the line

Tap end totals between shots. The round you just shot saves to your history, updates your average, and shows up on the team leaderboard before you walk off the line.

02

See your team's progress

Coaches open one screen and see every archer at once: current classification, recent PRs, attendance, and the parent contact for each minor. The seven spreadsheets go away.

03

Climb the leaderboard

Public and team-only leaderboards by round and bow style. Hit a classification benchmark and the pin shows up automatically, with a printable certificate ready before practice ends.

// what you get

Six surfaces, one team app.

Each of these is a real screen in the app today, not a roadmap item.

Scoring engine

Round-aware scoring that handles X-counts, 10s, inner-10s, spot rotation, and arrow-by-arrow input. Designed for one-handed use on a phone while you reset between ends.

Round catalog

Vegas, Lancaster, NFAA Indoor, WA 720, WA 18m and 25m, outdoor field, 3D, and practice variants. New sanctioned formats land as JSON recipes, so a new round is a release without an app update.

Classifications and PRs

USA Archery and NFAA classifications calculated from your scores. Pins drop into the archer profile when the threshold is hit. Certificates print to PDF, ready to sign.

Tournaments

Host a live shoot for your club, or have your archers check into a public one. Real-time scoring on every phone, brackets where the format calls for them, and a printable scoresheet workflow for judges who still want paper.

Team messaging

A thread for the whole team, threads for sub-groups, and direct messages on the paid tier. For any minor on the roster, the linked parent is auto-added to coach DMs and cannot be silently removed.

Coach notebook

Per-archer notes, drill assignments, attendance, and equipment checks live alongside that archer's scores. The clipboard, except the numbers add up for you.

// the free tier, plainly

One coach plus five archers. Free. Forever.

No credit card at signup. No 14-day trial running out at midnight on a Tuesday. We make money when a team grows past five archers and decides the paid features are worth it, not when a coach forgets to cancel.

If five archers is your whole program, the free plan is your plan for as long as ArcherSource exists.

// questions coaches ask

Eight things every coach wants to know first.

If your question is not here, write to hello@archersource.com and a human will answer.

Is it really free?
Yes. One coach and up to five archers, no time limit, no card on file. Practice scoring, the round catalog, classifications, pin tracking, the roster, and the leaderboard are all included. We start charging once you grow past five archers, or when you want the live and social features.
Do you sell our data?
No. We do not sell archer or parent data, and we do not pass it to advertisers. The business runs on paid team subscriptions. Your roster, scores, and photos stay with your team.
How do you handle minors and parents?
Every archer under 18 has a verified parent contact on file. Any coach-to-minor direct message automatically includes the linked parent on the thread, and a coach cannot remove the parent. Minor-to-minor 1:1 DMs are blocked at the database level, not just hidden in the UI.
Can our parents see their kid's scores?
Yes. Parents get a separate portal that only shows their own archer: scores, classification progress, upcoming events, and team announcements. They never see another family's data, and any photo of a minor is gated behind a consent flag the parent controls.
What rounds do you support?
Vegas, Lancaster, NFAA Indoor (300, Blue Face, and the rest), WA 720, WA 18m and 25m, outdoor field, and 3D, plus practice variants of each. Round formats live as JSON recipes in the database, so adding a new sanctioned round is a configuration change rather than an app release.
Do you have iOS and Android apps?
Yes. Native iOS and native Android, sharing the same backend as the web app. Score on a phone at the range, then pull up the same data on a laptop at home. The web app works in any modern browser with no install.
How do we cancel?
Settings, then Billing in the team app. Two clicks, no phone call. Your data stays read-only for 90 days after cancellation in case you change your mind, then it's purged.
What if our team grows past the free cap?
You see a nudge in the roster screen rather than a lockout. Upgrade in the billing portal when you're ready, and your scores, history, and pins carry forward to the paid tier unchanged.
// ready when you are

Free for small teams. Sign up and shoot.

Five archers is the free cap. If that is your whole roster, you are done paying for archery software.
